To give the speech was a little uncomfortable standing in front of everyone and talking in front of the whole class. Standing in front of everyone made me nervous at first but then after when you start talking you start to get more comfortable. When I do a presentation I pretend to be speaking to one of my friends, and that makes me feel at ease. The more we give speeches i feel that I will get better. I didn't like the topic though.
However giving a speech for 30 minutes is harder. You have to find a way to have your audience's attention at all times. A 30 minute speech has to be well structured and organized so that your audience knows what your talking about. By senior year I will hopefully improve with my speech because I'll have more time to practice.

#12 What would happen if you loved your neighbor as yourself? What if everyone did?
If I loved my neighbor as myself, I would be the most wonderful person in the world. There would be no talking about your neighbor in a bad way. If everyone loved their neighbor there would be no wars and problems between people and nations. The world would be a peaceful place. I think that if we all start accepting and working out our problems in a responsible way we would help the world. The world would be at least 90% peaceful.
#11 What is your favorite holiday? What makes this holiday special?
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I like this holiday because we spend time with family we haven't seen in a long time. We all eat together and talk about things that have happened in the past or things we are looking forward in the future. Thanksgiving is the day we cook a lot. Everyone cooks something special for dessert. This is the only holiday i don't like eating out at a restaurant. Every year we celebrate it at our house or my brother or sister's house.

#10 Why is it important to have good manners?
I think its important to have good manners for many reasons. First of all if your going to a job interview you want to make a good impression on the person that's going to hire you. Manners say many things about how the person is. If your about to meet your husband's or wife's family you want them to think your a good choice for their daughter/son because if you treat them without manners they'll think that's how your going to treat their son/daughter. Manners and respect make the worst person become the best in the eyes of the people.
#9 Which place would like to visit the most? why?
The place I would like to visit the most is Greece. Its so beautiful there. Its an old looking place in many parts. I like Greece because its like getting a glimpse of old days, the roads and buildings are ancient. I would like to see Mystras which is a medieval castle built in the year 1249. What makes Greece my choice is also the great islands and sea tourism available. The landscapes are really pretty and peaceful.
#8 When was the last time you cried and why?
The last time I cried a lot that I can remember was a year and a half ago. My one in a half year old nephew was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor engulfing his whole right kidney. That was the time I cried the most because the doctor said the tumor was a stage 3 which is the second highest level of a tumor. On that stage the patient has a least chance of getting better. However when the tumor was taken to a more advanced lab to be studied; the tumor was no longer screened cancerous. My nephew received chemotherapy and radiations for about 8 months. It was the hardest thing watching him relapse and lose his hair. Now he's all better and still goes to check ups.
#7 Describe the best teacher you ever had.
The best teacher I have ever had would be Mrs. Olavaria. She was my second grade teacher. Mrs. Olavaria was such a nice person she never lost her temper. When she had to leave to have her baby we were so sad. Our substitute was so mean. One day she grabbed Damien by the arm and left him a really red bruise. When Mrs. Olavaria came back we were so happy. When I go to Chicago on a weekday I go visit her, and she still remembers me.
